Glenwood Springs is only around 35 miles (56km) from Aspen, offering an easy and scenic drive to the center of the action in Aspen - there’s also an equally reliable bus service! From the 33,000 square foot Glenwood Hot Springs Pool to the stress-relieving underwater springs of Yampah Vapor Caves, there are plenty of ways to warm up. Snowmobiling the back of Sunlight Mountain is also an unmissable and thrilling experience; skiing here is also just as challenging and enjoyable as any of the big mountains in Aspen or otherwise, just without the crowds and hiked ticket prices.
