TravelWeekly recently hosted the 2022 Magellan Awards and we’re so excited to announce that The Compass AND Bedsonline both scooped up Gold Awards this year in the Travel Operators category!
As a hugely influential provider of news, research, insights and opinions in the travel industry, the Travel Weekly Magellan Awards are among the most prestigious out there and we’re honored to sit alongside some of the best travel providers in the business.

Admin Fees Made Easy for Travel Advisors
Bedsonline was recognised as an outstanding partner for travel advisors, winning the title for Admin Fees Made Easy for Travel Advisors in the Overall Tour Operators category.
This was in acknowledgment of the Admin Fee tool provided by Bedsonline: a unique feature that allows travel advisors to stay competitive against online travel agencies by easily adding service fees to their bookings.
Not only does the Admin Fee tool ensure that our travel partners are earning a revenue that is representative of the hard work put into every stage of the consultation and booking, but it means that travel advisors are not losing market space to larger OTAs.

Overall Technology Solutions
The Compass by Bedsonline came out leader of the pack for Overall Technology Solutions in the Overall Tour Operators category!
The Tour Operators category was packed with other influential winning businesses, with the likes of Amadeo Travel Solutions and the Cultural Heritage Alliance for Tourism winning their own titles in this category, among many others. To be recognised amongst these renowned companies for providing industry-leading technology solutions is something we’re incredibly proud of!
The Compass is the result of our desire to constantly improve and re-evaluate the way that travel advisors work, streamlining complicated processes and simplifying the way that consultations are managed to improve the experience not only for advisors, but for their customers too.
The win is also incredibly special for us, given that last year we were awarded the Silver Award for the Individual Travel Advisor and Overall Technology Solutions categories. Winning the Gold Award for this same category is a tangible indicator that The Compass is improving upon itself as a dedicated service tool for travel advisors, working to empower advisors and their businesses!
